How the Scratch course learning process works
The program is designed for 64 lessons
Contains 8 modules, each of which ends with the development of various projects: games, cartoons or even encryption programs.
Let's analyze the basic principles of programming
Let's learn the basic commands in Scratch, get acquainted with the fundamental concepts of algorithms and programming. We will learn the concepts of variables, cycles, conditions that will help the child create his own algorithms.
Let's consolidate all the theory with practice:
Let's forget about boring theoretical lectures and immediately delve into practical tasks, creating exciting projects. Let's become participants in a creative expedition through the world of Scratch programming for children, where the practical part makes up 70% of the lesson!
Let's create our own project portfolio
Learn how to turn your ideas into algorithms and real applications that you can fill your IT portfolio with. Create more than 10 unique games, animations and applications.
We issue a certificate after completing the course
What the child will be able to do after the course
Will use commands in Scratch and the rules of algorithm design to create programs.
Will gain basic skills in various IT fields: programming, animation, 3D modeling, and design.
Will show creativity in creating and animating characters, game elements, and designing graphic applications.
Will create their own game logic and functional apps, using variables, loops, lists, and conditions.
Will explore not only IT, but also math concepts such as 2D space coordinates and arithmetic operations in programming.

What parents and students say about our Scratch course for kids
I was looking for something to occupy my child. I wanted to try something computer-related. Now he is learning Scratch. I really like it. When this course ends, we will think about another one. I recommend the school.

My son has been doing Scratch programming at the JustSmart school since the summer. I like it very much. Everything is clear, understandable and not too much (classes once a week do not overload the child and fit into the schedule with other additional classes). I really like the teacher, he calmly and professionally explains everything to the children. We are satisfied, we plan to continue studying on other courses as well. Thank you for such a school!

My daughter has been doing Scratch programming at the JustSmart school since the summer. We immediately bought a full course, and my daughter created many interesting games during this period, which my husband and I love to come to play!))) Classes once a week, every Saturday, which do not overload the child and fit into the schedule with other additional classes. I really like the teacher, he calmly and professionally explains everything to the children. Thank you for the interesting lessons!

I spent a long time looking for an online school to teach my 9-year-old son the basics of IT. I chose JustSmart and haven't regretted it for a single day. Today, he is already finishing the Scratch course 🔥 and we're signing up for a new one. The class schedule is very convenient, the teacher gives maximum attention to each child, there is always feedback, all tasks are interesting, and the platform for learning and completing assignments is user-friendly and clear. Most importantly, I don’t need to remind or force my son to study and do homework. He looks forward to each lesson with joy and excitement. He even asked me to enroll him in another course after this one — and that’s the best sign of a great learning experience. Thank you for your work, and see you in the next course! I’m sure it will be just as exciting.

Frequently asked questions
What is Scratch?
Scratch is an interactive visual programming environment designed to teach children the basics of coding. Thanks to the graphical interface and simple syntax of this programming language, there are many opportunities for children to create Scratch video games, animations and other projects, using colored blocks instead of complex code. The principle is very similar to the constructor, where the elements form a single whole.
Where should we start learning?
The Scratch course begins with a trial lesson, after which we select the group that best fits by age and schedule.
What equipment is needed for the classes?
To ensure quality learning in the Scratch course for kids, a computer or laptop, a good internet connection, and a headset are required.
Is any prior preparation needed before the courses?
No, the Scratch course is designed even for children who have never tried programming before.
What if a child misses a lesson?
No worries: all Scratch online lesson recordings and materials are available on our platform. If a few lessons are missed, the child can catch up on their own. If more sessions are missed, we can transfer the student to a group that is currently studying the same topic. Our goal is to provide maximum flexibility and comfort in your child’s learning.
What if the child doesn't like the course or finds it boring?
Our lessons are always engaging! Learning Scratch is an exciting process where children quickly see the results of their work. Our teachers use methods aimed at encouraging and maintaining children’s interest. They know how to create a positive environment where everyone feels supported, grows, and discovers the full benefits of the Scratch programming language. If a child doesn’t enjoy Scratch, they can choose from our other programming courses for kids.
